This is a success case tested by diyobd2.fr engineers for sharing: SuperOBD SKP-900 can program 2013 Nissan Slyphy remote key successfully! The detailed operation steps are as follows.

Step1. Connect SKP900 Key Programmer with car. Turn ignition on. Choose “Immobilizer” then “Nissan”

Choose “New Structure”

And “Smart Key”

Step2. You can see “Keyless System”, press Enter button to select. Then “Choose OBD2 Adapter”: choose YES.

Choose “Read BCM Code” function. Insert key and turn ignition on.

SKP900 read BCM code out.

Step3. Go back to function menu and choose “Activate Steering Lock”. Turn ignition off then press Enter button.

Now it will remind you after activate steering lock all keyless will close, press Enter button to confirm.

Input pin code.

This blog is tested experience of using Xhorse VVDI MB BGA Tool to renew Mercedes W212 ESL and replace W212 EIS successfully! Below are details for your checking.

一.Replace W212 EIS with other used one by VVDI MB Tool OK:

Yesterday I tried to replace EIS in W212 with other used one, not exactly the same part number, but with help of EPC it was replaceable.

Original EIS + 1 key functional (original EIS have some malfunctions, sometime ok, sometime not, but all keys data readable yet)

Calculated key password online then got erase password success - all data saved.

Other used one W212 EIS from scrap yard, no any keys, then through steps as follows:

1.W212 all key lost to get key password, get erase password - all success

2.renew this EIS with all valid passwords - success

3.read all EIS data from orig part and as first write VIN, then write all key data

4.use original key and NEW EIS is success activated

(All works with both EIS were on the table, without car!)

二.Now put the new(used) EIS back to the car and waited a little time for key recalculating to car, then turned to first ignition position and again waited for recalculating...

At the end turned to 2nd ignition lights OK, again waited for recalculating in ECU, after message away turned key to start car and car started! Remote lock/unlock work, no any problems...

(All work was on W212 from 2009 year with ELV steering locking unit by Xhorse VVDI MB BGA Tool)

I’ve been trying to get Consult 3 plus V46.11.00 to work with my NEXIQ usb link. Nexiq supports J2534 so i figured I would give it a shot. I have a CF-19 Tough book which contains all me software for diagnostic. The CF-19 runs in deep freeze all the time to prevent any issues. So I typically test software I acquire on my desktop first. Long story short I installed it on my Desktop edited the .ini file and got it to show connection to my nexiq. (Haven’t tested on a car because my desktop is in my living room). So I thought I was good even wrote a short tutorial to keep with my backups of software. I then installed on the CF-19. Edited the .ini. Expected to the the USB connection with the blue dot.... Nothing. I installed both exactly the same. Im running identical versions Windows 7. There is quite a bit of software on my CF-19 I don't if its interfering or not. Does anyone have any ideas. To be so close to it working but not able to test is frustrating. Below I will put my short tutorial to show the steps I took and also maybe it will help others. (This is not my work just the steps I found on here)

J2534 PassThru for Nissan Consult 3 plus

1. Install Niassan Consult III+.

2. Make sure the driver for your PassThru is installed.

3. Open regedit.exe

4. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Wow6432Node > PassThruSupport.04.04

5. From there choose your device. (For example I have a Nexiq Usb-link, so I choose either " NEXIQ Technologies - USB-Link" or "NEXIQ Technologies - USB-Link Bluetooth". I choose to use standard USB-Link)

6. Once you've click on your device look in the right column for "Name"

7.Right click on "Name" and choose "Modify..."

8. A window will appear copy exactly what it say in the "Value data:" box. (For example mine is "NEXIQ USB-Link over USB")

9.Close regedit.

10. Naviagte to "C:\CONSULT-III_plus\System\Application\ApplicationData\CommonSetting"

11. Open "DiagnosticTool.ini"

12. Copy & Paste the text below under "access_mode=1" in DiagnosticTool.ini
with the exeption of putting the text you copied from regedit in place of "!!!!YOUR_DEVICE_NAME!!!!":

Here is a tutorial for using KTAG K-TAG ECU Programming Tool Master to read VAG Audi A3 ECU EDC17C46 on bench. Steps are as follows:

Step1. Open Audi A3 ECU EDC17C46 unit: first heat the edge to soften glue inside then open it carefully not to damage the circuit board.

Step2. Open KATG K-TAG software. Connect the cable 14P600KT02 to ECU connector according to following pin out diagram:

Step3. Take a wire, cut the wire cover at the middle. Solder its two ends to the two pins (red) as follow:

Step4. Back to K-TAG software, choose plug-in “P199” and click “OK”.

Click “Read” and wait it 100% complete. And then save the bin file. Now KTAG ECU Programming Tool read VAG Audi A3 ECU EDC17C46 successfully!

Puzzles from user A:

Im new to VVdi2 so still learning what it can do .

have a citigo 2012 key to do.

dash is 1st 920 960 g I think its the same as the up and mi .

I think its a marelli dash if I select the only marrelli from menu it does read something and the is hex in the window but then says fail. I struggle to know which dash type to select.

Q1 will vvdi do this
Q2 which dash to select.

(Bug 1 failed to auto detect this dash)
Pre coded CS to key OK.

add key to dump method actually killed dash

and all keys failed to start.

Needed to put Back original dump back to dash to get key 1 to work again.

Finally solved by manually editing dump and overwriting key 2 (lost key) with the ID of the new key. It's ID appears in the dump in 3 locations simple search and replace worked well. Happy days. Remote added with VCDS.

Conclusion:
It's my first run out with xhorse vvdi2. This is going to be a really powerful tool when the bugs a sorted. Bit scary to used while it is still buggy. Hope this help someone

How to update your Digiprog III

It can support Alfa, Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley, BMW, Cagiva Raptor, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Citreon,Daimler Benz, Dodge, Ferrari, Fiat, Ford, GM, Honda, Hyundai, Jaguar, Kia etc.

Now here are some steps which can tell you how to set up the Digiprog III:

1) You need to power your Digiprog with a regulated 12V power, it might be got damaged if the power is above 13.5V, the main circuit board will get burned, and then you need to sent your Digiprog to your supplier for repairing.

2) Pleasd don’t use the cigar lighter lead when connect it to a vehicle by OBD, and it takes power from the vehicle. It will not be covered in the warranty if you do not observe.

3) When your Digiprog is power on, the screen will show like this as below:

2)Choose the right port and select the Digi1.bin, click the button. Please restart the step 1 if your Digiprog III does not go to blue screen.
3)It is upgrading now, please keep this states till over, and it will be damaged if you remove or restart it.
4)Updating over, your Digiprog III will restart automatically, after this you can use the updated version.

(solved) Renault CAN CLIP 20% firmware update

Here are some customer solutions of Can Clip Renault firmware update stops at 20%, some solved by files rename and some by CLIP pcb reword.

Solution I said 100% working:

For those who have a Chinese Can clip that remain stuck at 20% on the update of the firmware here is the procedure to stop the worries and can again use the Clip device.

Must rename the following files:

C: \ CLIP \ DATA \ APPLI \ PARAMS \ appliiso.s19 in appliiso.bak

C: \ CLIP \ DATA \ APPLI \ PARAMS \ applican.s19 in applican.bak

tested by myself work 100%

Solution II:

if firmware update stops at 20% the solution is very easy

Exist some problems in hardware ... ISO pcb or CAN pcb

For bypass that error search for 2 files APLIISO.S19 and APLIICAN.S19 and rename this files to .bak one time ISO ...start the soft and ceck .... and one time CAN and restrt the soft and ceck...and you see where is the problem CAN hardware or ISO hardware....

The files is located here :
C:\ASDE\MODULES\
C:\CLIP\DATA\APPLI\PARAMS\

If you have renamed the right file no more firmware stop at 20% but the problem on hardware remain and is possible use the interface only for ISO or only for CAN vehicles.....or put the interface in trash !!!!

BUT, some say the exactly reasons for 20% update problem is not the software problem!It’s HARDWARE problem with your clone CLIP sonde. You probably have bad flash chip or bad soldering, or bad oscillator, or, ... you name it, but anyway as I said it's pure hardware problem. You can avoid firmware update for ISO or CAN board with renaming few files, but that is not solution because if you can't update firmware, your CLIP will not work properly.

Solution III:

Besides two pcb's inside Clip (can and iso) there is small thrid pcb where is round connector for car cable . When this cable is plugged and unplugged to Clip very often ( which needs a little force ), then solderings on metal pins which links this small pcb with rest of clip are breaking with the time.
You just need to resolder connections of these pins.

I did it and it solve update 20% problem

I have the reprogramming feature with the can clip v160. I cannot see where to download and save the existing ecu data as a file. either as a backup or to save and send off for remapping.

And here is all user suggestion... Should be ok i think. Wish tips below help anyone also.

Why cannot see the option (download & save data)?

Because in your renault can clip software, there exists no option of this.

What is needed for download & save data in renault CLiP?
You need another cable for that.

Use ren k line tool (google search this from immotools) or kess v2, mpps, etc

Any successful experience?

Definitely yes. i have some experience with s3000 which is on petrol models after 2003 inc 2.0t sport on megane version and read manually by mpps .

i resolder obd and give 14v supply to the ecu and the mpps v12 (chinees clone) but always use supply over +13v cause the interface burning the can chip

For command name SC003, look here the picture from Dialogys e.g. DCM12 saving data before replacing the ecu :

If you have lost the master key and badly need a new key programmed, you will be quoted euro 50-euro 200 from one place to another. It is a bit expensive. What device can you program a Peugeot new key?

1) SBB V33 auto key programmer (French available)

The clone Silica SBB V33 key programmer will program my Peugeot 307 HDI spare key via immobilizer. But you need a pin code from BSI dump. There is a step-by-step document instruction:

2) Lexia-3 cable Peugeot Planet 2000/Diagbox

For Peugeot, it is better to use lexia 3 PP2000 to erase and add new key.
You need a programmer to read dump from BSI to find the pin code/confidential code in case you don’t have it and use PP2000 or diagbox to program the key.

3) Zed Bull transponder clone key programmer

Zed Bull and Silica SBB V33 complete each other. With zedbull you can find pin code from dump and programming transponder directly from immo dump so in many cases you don’t need the car and SBB is connected to OBD port and you need pin to program transponder on the car.

In conclusion:
Both Lexia 3 interface and SBB key programmer requires a pin code to access. But Zed Bull key pro does not need. Lexia3 XS Evolution will not program all Peugeot key, so better choose SBB v33 because it cheap at twice the price than Zed Bull.

How to program EEPROM with digiprog 3 v4.94 (detail)

Here is the detail instruction on how to program EEPROM with digiprog 3 odometer correction tool through “EEPROM” menu.

On some vehicles you can see an eight pin EEPROM chip which is used to store the vehicle data and these chips grasp vital information from the vehicle such as ignition and immobilizer codes. Once you lose those data, it may cause anything from minor fault to major faults and even make you have to repair your machine, so it is very important to use the digiprog3“EEPROM” menu to read and save the original information.

The EEPROM chip would have a number on the top of itself and usually it will be “93C46″, you can connect it to your digiprog IIIvia ST1 or ST4adaptor. Then you should tell your digiprog III which chip you are working on before you use it to read.

How to program EEPROM using digiprog 3 mileage correction kit?

1. De-solder EEPROM chip;

2. Confirm the contact points or legs with glass fiber pin thoroughly;

3. Clean clearly with sandpaper;

4. Insert EEPROM correctly into Digiprog3 ST01/ST04 adapter, and make sure they are well contacted;

5. Connect DP3 device to your car via OBD connector

6. Enter “EEPROM” menu

7. Read data from EEPROM and store them in digiprog3; Follow this way:

Select the “SET TYPE” and choose “93C46″, then your digiprog has been set up to read a 93C46 chip. Press “EEPROM” again and then “READ”. There will show you the information on the digiprog III screen when the reading is complete. Now press “VERIFY” so the information on your screen can agree with the Eeprom.

Next click the “FILE” and there will show you another sub-menu, you can click “SAVE” and enter a file name for the information you are saving. Once you entered the file name, your data is safe and the vehicle is now ready to be reprogrammed.

8. Get EEPROM from ST01/ST04 adapter and reload it;

9. Select the function EEPROM COMPARE;

10. Then it is the previous read data on digiprog 3 but not the internal memory, comparing it with the now re-inserted EEPROM;

NOTE:

Error message may appear during the process, restore or reprogram, restore the original data status and it will be fixed.

Apart from DigiProg 3“EEPROM” Menu, it also have “CAR/TRUCK” Menu, “Motorcycle” Menu,“Special Functions” Menu and “Setup” Menu.

When use FVDI 2016, attention please! :

1) Open the authorization:

a, before delivery, we will open the software authorization for your fvdi. When you get it, you need to update the lisence on your laptop.

b, Connect the dongle with your FVDI main unit first (do not connect the usb dongle with laptop, otherwise the Softdog green light or red light will on, and result in authorization fail),

c, Use USB cable to connect FVDI and the computer, but do not connect FVDI to the car. Wait until FVDI green light on and Softdog red light on, you succeed getting authorization. If FVDI red light on or Softdog green light on, repeat the above steps.

2) Software installation:

You need to install V6.3 and driver V2.8.14 version. If your CD do not have the two. Please contact http://www.diyobd2.fr/ to download.

3) Internet

When you first time to update the license and open the authorized software for your FVDI, you need to connect the internet. After done, FVDI will not need internet anymore.

4) Laptop requirement

a, Laptop configuration:

CUP>1.8, RAM >2GB. Windows XP system is the best option. Better do not use it on WIN7 32bit.

Good internet.

If internet speed is too low or not stable, it will show "connecting to server ...... Failed" when you update the firmware or license. When you meet this, do not worry, change a good internet.

5) Car diagnose steps:

a> Connect the dongle to FVDI (Note: do not connect Softdog to the computer).

b> Use USB cable to connect FVDI and the computer. Wait until FVDI green light on and Softdog red light on, connect Softdog USB cable to the computer. During the procedure, the Softdog red light keeps on (Note: do not connect FVDI to the car)

c> Till the above 2 steps work well, connect FVDI to the car.

VVDI2 Full package came with PSA Programmer and pin reader for a few days. And today, technicians in diyobd2.fr verified vvdi2 psa tool can read pin codes and do key learning with working keys on CAN based PSA- tested no issues.

VVDI2 PSA function:

This is the instruction on how to install ETKA 7.5 electronic parts catalogue on Windows XP.

Attention please. VW ETKA 7.5 catalogue from China, especially from diyobd2.fr MUST be installed on Windows XP, NOT 64 bit system!

Step 1 - install Hardlock device driver

Copy ETKA 7.5 zip file from dvd disk to local disk D:

Then extract Etka 7.5

Open folder ETKA-> QQ1 to install hardlock device driver 5.22

Step 2 - delete dl file

Copy LexHd5.dll from D:/ ETKA to C:/WINDOWS/system

Step 3 - install Hardlock emulator

Open Emulator to install Hardlock emulator

Step 4 - setup ETKA 7.5 language

Copy ETKA 7.5 shortcut from D:/ ETKA to Desktop

Run ETKA 7.5 on Desktop and select a language first

Then exit ETKA 7.5 software

Step 5 - run ETKA 7.5 to read part info

Again, open ETKA 7.5 to start EPC

This time, all words expression is normal

In the Renault CAN CLIP inner board, I found no vcc 3.3v to AN2135SC fromvoltage regulator. Actually there is no +5v IN from usb port to voltage regulator . Need +5v on both pins (1 and 3)

On red arrow no +5V on image,normally no 3v3 to blue arrow,but on green there is +5v
Also from back side near usb connis also same vol.reg and its have all voltages ok

Here are some Renault clip users’ solution. I adopted it... Worked!

it is possible solder a wire from +5v to IN pin, but also need to OFF\ON pin to enable output voltage 3.3v. But in that case both red diodes are ON even no connected obd conn to car. Also tried to "take" 3.3v from other clip pcb and then find sonde when start clip sq, only ask for firmware update so will try lower version sw. Now use v96

Then I sill bring +5v to both IN and ON/OFF and will get 3v3 only both red leds will be on

Another user also had a problem with the 3.3V regulator , and he used a normal 3.3v regulator without ON/OFF and it worked correctly , except that the 2 red leds always on.
