  1. Get a cheap 99 BMW ENET Cable to connect E-Sys with your car.
How to do BMW VO Coding? (Steps)
Step 1
Connect your Bimmer with E-Sys 3.28.1 software via BMW ENET Cable.
Open E-Sys 3.28.1 and first select the target chassis.
Step 2
Go to the “Expert Mode”, choose “Coding”, click “Read” button to bring up the FAList.
Click the “Save” button to save the file to any folder on your computer for next editing.
Step 3
Choose “FA-Editor” then open the FAList file as below:
Open the “FAList” folder on the left and expand it until you see the “SALAPA-element” folder.
You can see many codes they respectively mean the values of the function into the vehicle options.
For the codes meaning you can check this picture:
Now you can delete or add FA from the bottom left window.
Then click the apply changes icon as 2 and click button as 3 to save.
Step 4
In this step you need to upload a list of vehicle options stored in My Computer to your car.
Choose “VCM” below “Expert Mode” menu and open the FAList file as below:
New FA must be verified before it can be written to car.
So right click on FA folder and choose “calculate FP”. FP is a vehicle profile.
Expand the SALAPA-Element folder and check the option codes you entered are correct or not.
Step 5
After checking you can upload a list of vehicle options to your vehicle.
Select VCM “Master” tab at the bottom and click “Write FA FP” button on FA FP section.
Now you successfully change the FA, that is to say BMW VO Coding procedure is basically complete.
Step 6
To fully complete it, you also need to activate the option value you changed.
For example, if VO coding edited function related to FRM module, you should initialize the FRM module and activate its value with coding.
You need to activate FA, read SVT, select FRM module then click “Code” button.

Do you know how to program Renault Kangoo MUX key easily by Renault FVDI 2 Abrites Commander? Below will guide you step by step!

Step 1
First, connect Renault FVDI with Renault Kangoo MUX directly via the OBD2 port.

Open FVDI Abrites Commander Software and choose “Renault”.

Click “Key Learning” button at the bottom of menu.
Select car model “Kangoo MUX PH2”.

Click “Open” to enter Renault key learning menu. It will automatically read car keys ID.
Click “Read Pin Code”.

Follow the tips: remove key card before key learning.

Step 2
Click “Learn” button then follow the screen instruction.
Insert the working key #1 to turn ignition on.
Next insert the working key #2 to turn ignition on.

Now FVDI 2 Commander Renault successfully program Renault Kangoo MUX key!

This blog is review on: Diagnose Renault Megane injector and instrument panel, read and clear DTC codes by 2017 Launch X431 V 8 inch tablet OK.
Launch X431 V diagnose Renault Megane steps made by a customer:
Connect this new Launch X431 V with car via the Bluetooth VCI Box.It will connect Bluetooth automatically.
Choose “Renault” on European section.
Go to latest software Renault V42.40 and choose “Automatically search”. It will show vehicle information as below:
Click “Quick Test” to scan all car modules fully. It will cost 2 minutes.

 
Launch X431 V scan DTC codes and faults exist in Injection system and Instrument Panel system.
Now just click the fault and choose “Read DTC”.
Renault Megane Injection DTC error details display:
Click “Clear Fault Memory” to clear DTC codes. And no error exists in Injection module!
Same way Launch X431 V 8 inch read and clear Renault Megane Instrument Panel DTC codes as below.

How to program Peugeot 307 remote key by Lexia 3 Diagbox?

Do you know how to program Peugeot 307 remote keys by using Lexia 3 Diagbox? Check below steps!
Step 1
Connect Lexia3 Diagnostic Scanner Tool with Peugeot 307 via OBD2 port.
Turn ignition on and open Diagbox software.
Select car brand “Peugeot”.
Select car model “307”.
Step 2
Go to “Diagbox” and “Repair”.
It will automatically do a Global Test to all car modules. After that you click “BSI” control unit.
Then choose “Configuration”, “Learning” and “Programming of keys” as below:
  
Step 3
To program new keys, you need car pin code.
Enter pin code as “BSI Confidential Code” then follow the tip to enter it again.
Next you can enter the key number you want to program.
Step 4
Follow the instruction: turn ignition off then within 15 seconds you should insert the new key to turn ignition on.
New key#1 is programmed OK. Turn ignition off and remove the key.
Insert new key#2 in ignition, turn ignition off then within 15 seconds you should insert the new key to turn ignition on.
In this way, you successfully program new remote keys for Peugeot 307 using Lexia 3 Diagnostic Tool!

We first install the program itself via .msi, or we can base the base on the Standalone version. We unpack and add the database to the folder x: \ ISTA \ SQLiteDBs \.
Database files can be packed originally (.istapackage) or .rar.
To get a database from the .istapackage archive you need to change the extension to .rar and extract as usual. All databases in. \ SQLiteDBs directory should have a .sqlite extension.
The license to standalone is in a folder with RG.

Xprog is useful too...
Already I have it but Orange5 for hc05(7) hc08(9) and tms more useful at least for me
yes...right...
for HC05E6 I use mostly only Orange5
for HC05(7)x32 I use Xprog
and for HC(9)08 I use R270 or VVDI Prog only

So, for better work,  instead of thinking which one to choose, I should buy them all
....

Hello, I would like to explain to you step by step how to install your FGTech Galletto V54 correctly on Windows 7 operation system. To do this, you must first uninstall the already installed software and the drivers. Then we start with step
  1. Run "FGTech Galletto Edited v1.0.exe" as an administrator. Important: Do not create a desktop icon and run the program yet.
  1. Next, connect the Galletto device to the power supply and then connect it via USB. The automatic driver installation fails. But do not worry, the installation is done manually.
  1. Right-click on the "Computer" icon and select "Manage". As soon as the window opens, click on Device management and select the USB port "FGTech". Here you have to click "Update driver software". And then click "Browse the computer for driver software", then "Select from a list of device drivers on the computer", then "Have Disk" and "Browse".
  1. Now look for the folder of "FGTech" on drive C. Here you open the folder "fgtech_new_driver" and select the following file: "fgtibus.inf"! Confirm everything, wait for the installation, and close all windows.
  1. Run "FGTech Galletto Edited v1.0.exe" again as an administrator. Important: Do not create a desktop icon and run the program yet.
  1. Run "Galletto win7.exe" as administrator. Create and install the desktop icon. If the installation is complete, start the program as an administrator.
  1. Ignore the next two windows with hints and confirm with OK.
FINISHED!!!

Coding: How to enable BMW F45 F46 Enhanced USB and Bluetooth?

Do you know your car has a hidden "Enhanced USB and Bluetooth" feature? It can pair two phones with car via Bluetooth and read out messages and emails while you are driving! Check below:

Note: To bring the convenience of your phone or tablet to your BMW, You don’t need any expensive coding tool, just a cheap €16 BMW ENET Coding Cable!
Steps to activate BMW F45 F46“Enhanced USB and Bluetooth” function
First, you can to check your phone compatibility here:

Next, you start coding refers to BMW VO coding steps shown here:

When you come to step as below, you can see the “SALAPA-Element” and many codes.
You simply add VO code "6NS" to the element instead of removing any values.
And perform the rest of the mentioned steps and perform "code" on your "HU_ENTRYNAV" module only. Note that it will code back to your original factory setting.
Remember to backup your CAFD files as these steps involves factory reset your HU_ENTRYNAV module entirely and all your customized codes will be gone. Be familiar with CAFD files restoration steps to recover your original settings.
Unpair all your phones from your Bluetooth.

Go to the Bluetooth section, press the “Option” idrive button and go to “Options” then “Configure Bluetooth”, check the “Telephone 1” and “Office” options.

If you are pairing 2 phones at same time, the first one should be selected as Telephone 1 to pair and the second one should be selected as Telephone 2.

In this way you successfully use BMW ENET Cable and E-Sys to activate the "Enhanced USB and Bluetooth" function!
Now test your new enhanced Bluetooth function by pairing your phones and enjoy the music!
NOTE: If you have coded your ECU with 8.8 inch screen, you will need to set the correct settings for your display resolution and display variant parameter, otherwise it will display a blank screen instead.

Currently, Apple phones are not able to access emails or text messages. Android phone makers like Samsung and Sony are able to access your text messages and emails as shown in the above photo.

Select car year and car model. This is a 2006 Corsa-C.

Go to “Body” then “Immobilizer”.
Choose “Program Transponder Keys” function.

BMW ICOM vs K+DCAN cable, which one you need?

What can you do with an BMW ICOM emulator, and which you cannot do with a K+DCAN cable? (especially in for E series) Here is something useful for education.

ICOM can be used with diagnosis and also programming. While DCAN cable can do all of those it is not safe to program modules because there have been a lot of cases where modules were bricked. You can only get your 1B file using FSC generator with ICOM on an E series car but cannot generate 1B file using a DCAN cable since it will give you an error. There is another way though of getting your 1B file without using an ICOM on an E series through the USB port inside your glovebox accessing the hard drive directly. Rather than going through all those stuff, it is more convenient to just buy the lifetime FSC code and be done with it.
To see if I understood:
Programming = Flashing a module, which means changing the actual software. Best done with an ICOM.
Coding = Reading and writing the memory which contains the configuration. Can be done with a K&DCAN cable.
ICOM: fast protocol, allows to secure flash software and read/write access the entire memory. Similar to JTAG programming.
K&DCAN Cable: slow serial protocol, flashing would take ages and errors could occur. Also, not possible to access the entire memory. Similar to RS232 bootloader access.
You program a module if you want to update the software to a newer one or if you a retrofitting a new module and want to flash it. ICOM is a lot more stable than dcan cable when it comes to programming. And you are right there are modules that takes hours to finish and any interruption in the process will surely brick that module. You can get a cheap china clone ICOM but finding a refutable vendor selling a good working ICOM is not easy. You can also get recommendations from others who bought a working clone ICOM.

Choose car manufacturer “Renault”, car model “Sandero” and car year and ECU type “2014 EMS3120”.
Click “OK” to continue.

ECU to read: Renault Bosch EDC16CP33
You can see this ECU type installed in Renault, Nissan and Suzuki. EDC16CP33 and EDC16C36 are the same just if CP33 you can’t read the MPC.
Tool used: KTAG 2.11 FW 6.070 or you can try KTAG 2.13 FW 6.070.
K-TAG BDM read Renault Bosch EDC16CP33 ECU steps:
Connect K-TAG with EDC16CP33 ECU via KTAG BOSCH BDM Frame as below:

 
Open K-TAG 2.11 software and click the car icon.
Select car maker “Renault”, car model “Megane II” and ECU type “BOSCH EDC16C36” as below:
It’s recommended to do ECU backup before reading.
Then choose the first option “BOSCH EDC16+ NISSAN RENAULT (P29)” and click “OK”.
Click “Read” and KTAG starts to read EDC16CP33. (Not MPC, only flash and eeprom)

(Review) Volvo VIDA/DICE 2014D Windows 7 32bit: 100% OK

A couple of weeks ago the car suffered a spurious DIM fault which left me with a SRS alarm standing. Unsure of what faults may be laying in wait and in order to clear the SRS alarm, I ordered a VIDA/DICE unit from this site:
I know that VIDA/DICE is a big issue on the forum and has been covered many times, but I wanted to put down my experience while it is still fresh in my mind, and that it may help any out there who are struggling or are wondering whether to get a unit or not.
Once I got the VIDA/DICE unit I set about looking at the numerous posts that had been put on various forums, and I realised immediately that this was not going to be as easy as most software / hardware you buy off the shelves. However. my first challenge was to find a laptop with Win 7 professional on it. Luckily my son had a large desktop / laptop with it on and he let me do a fresh install and update. I then followed a YOUTUBE video for installation. (No instructions came with the device at all).
Following along, I got Volvo VIDA 2014D installed OK. I then rushed out to my car to try it out. When I plugged the DICE into the computer it searched for the drivers and eventually recognized the device. I then started VIDA, but it would not see the DICE unit. Just a box with a Red X in it.
OK so back to the forums to see what people did about that. I must have tried innumerable combinations of things and I was about to give up. As a last ditch effort I dug out an old Toshiba Laptop I had. This only had Vista Home Premium on it, but it was a 250GB drive, 4GB of RAM and an Intel Core DUO processor (P8600) which was way below the spec of my sons laptop, but adequate for VIDA. I searched on the WEB for the cheapest WIN 7 professional license I could buy and got one.
I loaded the 32 BIT version as this is all the laptop could cope with. Followed some of the tips I had picked up on the forums, and loaded VIDA back up again. I went out this morning in the pouring rain to try and connect it to the car - hey presto - it worked. I have checked and cleared down the faults, including the SRS alarm. I am a very happy man. So below is the setup I used which worked for me and I hope it helps someone else out there who has been struggling.
  1. I purchased a VIDA / DICE unit with the latest 2014D software. The VIDA unit has multicoloured lights on it. I had read on the forums that there were some out there with only Blue Lights and seemed to give problems.
  2. Use WIN 7 professional 32 Bit and let windows do a full update (takes ages). You will certainly need to ensure that service pack 1 is installed. When mine was loaded and updated, it only had Internet Explorer 8 on it. I had to download and install IE9. VIDA 2014D would not load with only IE8 in place.
  3. Download the latest version of JAVA
  4. At this point I created a restore point in windows, so I could revert to this point should I have problems installing VIDA.
  5. I then turned off User Account Control (UAC) and disabled the Windows Firewall.
  6. Check that the only version of .net that you have is .NET 3.5. I had read that if you are on version 4 VIDA doesn't like it. (You can check the version in the registry editor in Windows)
  7. I then loaded VIDA following a Youtube video
  8. Once VIDA was proven to work, I then took the laptop out to the car and connected the DICE unit to the OBD2 socket and plugged it into the laptop. Windows searched for the drivers and installed them. When I opened VIDA up, I needed to enter all the car details in the Vehicle Profile section. This time the page also showed my DICE unit in the DICE configuration Box. With the vehicle details entered, the Diagnostics TAB activated and as long as the Ignition is in the II position, it will read all the onboard computers.
Why didn't this work for me the first time I tried it? I think it might be that VIDA / DICE didn't like the 64Bit version of Win7 Pro, although others may have got it working on that platform. I also think I got in a mess with the .net 3.5 vs the .net 4.5.
My thanks to all those on various Forums who have posted up their solutions. Most are for earlier versions of VIDA, and I didn't see many for the 2014D version that I bought.
It has been a long week messing around with this, but I am currently walking on air.
One final tip - while messing around with VIDA 2014D on the car the ignition is on. I would put the battery charger on while in this state as the battery soon runs down. I'm currently waiting for it to charge up so I can start the car!!!
