This is a guide for using KTAG K-TAG ECU Programming Tool Master to read Bosch EDC17C10 PSA Peugeot 308 on bench. Below are operation steps for you!
Step1. Take out the EDC17C10 ECU unit and open it. (Remember to heat the ECU edge before open that will protect the circuit)
Step2. Connect the cable 14P600KT02 to the ECU connector according to the pin out diagram below:
Pin 2, 19—red color—+12V
Pin 4—black color—Ground
Pin 40—white color—CAN-H
Pin 52—green color—CAN-L
Soldered wire—gray with alligator clip—Boot
Step3. Before reading ECU, remember to make a backup copy. Open KTAG 2.13 Master clone software. Choose “Peugeot”—“308”—“Bosch EDC17C10 Tricore” as follows:
Select the plug-in P219.
Step4. Click “Read” to start read ECU.
Wait a while and ECU reading complete!

This guide will show you how to read pin code for a 2011 Citroen C5 easily by using OBDSTAR F108 PSA Pin Code Tool! Check below to know the steps:
First, connect OBDSTAR F108 with Citroen C5 via car OBD diagnostic port. Power up OBDSTAR F108 and you can see main menu.
Choose “Function” then “Peugeot/Citroen/DS V31.09”.

I’m wondering if someone know how to set up Mercedes Xentry/DAS to work with I-2013 Multidiag Access J2534 interface.

Here is what i get from fellows in different forums. Big thanks to all.

Don't waste your time!
Online programing is ok with passthru!
But diagnosis by DAS and Xentry is not good at all!

With new cars,works good on 2005-2007 and UP (mercedes and smart)Old cars can only connect to the Motor unit and in some models only

I confirm that it works with almost all modules on can-bus..I test just for fun once and I was impressed..diagnose & coding almost without any limits but I test only on w211,w219,w203 and all cars was 2004 to 2009. wink2 old actia is still one of my favorite tools in my boxes and can work with many software on diler level
....

A 2007 Citroen C4 with a working remote key wants to add another new remote.
Step1. Connect SKP-900 key programmer with Citroen C4 via car OBD diagnostic port. Choose “Immobilizer” then “Citroen”.


Choose “Immobilizer 2” and “Immobilizer System”.

Step2. Insert the new remote key to turn on car ignition. Press YES button to continue.
Choose “Adapt Key” function.

Step1. Open Renault CAN Clip software then click the third icon at left side as picture shows:

It will automatically feature out vehicle information. Click “Reprogramming”.

Step2. Choose “Injection” then click “Validate”.

Enter the repairing order then click “Validate”.

Step3. Before ECU reprogramming, you should check battery voltage.

Choose “CD-ROM” when the select reprogramming mode window pops up, after that click “Validate”.

Step4. Now you need to enter “After Sales Programming Code”. You can use “Renault Pin Extractor” to calculate the code: click “Reprog”→ enter the programming code 734066 at “Request Code” blank→ click “Calculate”.

This is new tool PSA-COM software installation guide on Windows XP for you! Check below steps to install PSA-COM Bluetooth Scanner for Peugeot/Citroen!
Step1. Install Net Framework 4.0 or above before install PSA-COM software. Disconnect all internet connections on PC.
Open “ASP_PSA (E:)” and copy the application exe and the readme txt to desktop. (The readme txt includes software required activation codes)
Step2. Open Net Framework 4.0 Setup. Check the box “I have read and accept…” then click “Install”.
Installation is complete. Click “Finish”.
Step3. Open the application exe on desktop then select the language.
Click “Install” then you see the PSA-COM install wizard. Click “Next”→ “I accept…”→ “Next” → “Next” → “Install” → “Finish”.
Step4. Now you see a Bluetooth icon on Windows bottom bar. Click it and choose “Open Bluetooth Settings”.
Click “Add” button and the Add Bluetooth Device Wizard shows. Check the box “My device is set up and ready” then click “Next”.
Step5. Choose the advice “AutoScan& Programming” then click “Next”.
Choose “Use the passkey” option and enter “1234”.

There are various types of operating requirements such as; O2 sensors, emissions controls, fuel type, Manual or Auto transmission.
The procedure of assigning one specifically labeled group of data to the operating program of a specific control module/component is referred to as “coding”. Coding allows a specific set of data already present in the module to be selected.
A “codable” control module has a basic operating program already installed along with several specific variations of operating data. The coding process allows a specific set of operating data to be assigned to the basic operating program of that module/component, with respect to its specific application.
Coding can be performed for some systems/components via ISTA/P or the older DIS/Plus/GT1/SSS device. By entering a variant code via the device, selecting customer specific operational settings from a list of available features (VKM) or automatically by selecting a specific coding process.
Note: Codable control modules/components are system specific, which means that not all control modules are codable.

What is Programming?

It is a process utilized by BMW to load application/system specific operating instructions. Programming loads control functions instructions into a specific control module.
(Program) into a module/component which already has the systems operating requirements (Data) installed, plus it can be used as a means of updating data and operating instructions previously installed in a control module. Basic programmable control modules have a pre-defined set of operating data already installed which allows the module to be fairly generic until a specific operational program is installed.
The ability to program a module is limited to the number of times it has already been programmed and the hardware version of the control module itself.

What is I-level (or Integration Level?)

The ECU’s in a BMW are not meant to be updated individually, rather as a collection which BMW tested and knows all work fine together. The collective version number of all programmed ECU’s is called the I-level, or Integration level (German: I-stufe). The term I-level was adopted by BMW around the year 2004 and applies only to lines which were in development/production in 2004 or after (E60, E70, E90, etc.).
The I-level is a set of numbers that looks like E89X-11-09-410. The first part represents the chassis group, which is followed by the year and month of the release and a build number for that release. So, E89X-11-09-410 would mean an E80/E90, 09/2011, version 410.
You will often see a set of two I-levels, something like E89X-05-10-026, E89X-11-09-410. In this case the first set is called the Factory I-level, or the level with which the car left the factory, and the second the Dealer Organization I-level, or the current version programmed by the dealer.
In short,
- "coding" means setting options/features, or setting values (such as VIN) that allow it to work in your specific car
- "programming" means updating (overwriting) the software inside a module

Only the DME (engine control module) and EGS (automatic transmission control module) can be programmed via the car's OBD2 port. All the other modules require special hardware and software that's not been leaked out of BMW's engineering quarters. The effort required far exceeds the potential gains, so few folks have attempted it. Especially when you can just repair it or buy and code a used module for your car.

I would just get BMW Scanner 1.4 and play with that for a while and see what it can do. If you still want to dig deeper then set up the BMW ICOM A2 suite (ISTA-DISTA-P, ETK, KSD, INPA, NCS Expert, WinKFP, E-Sys 3.27.1, Psdzdata 59.0), BMW FSC code generator and BMW AiCoder).

Procedure for reference:

Honda HDS Key Programming with HDS HIM diagnostic tool

How to program a new key to Honda using a Honda HDS HIM diagnostic tool (supporting basic diagnostics, programming incl. VIN reading & Immo programming)... For details, here you go...to program honda key transponder.

To add one new key/Keyless transmitter, you need:

1.Immobilizer Mater Key Blank or Immobilizer Valet Key Blank
2. One programmed ignition key (master or valet) for the vehicle
3. Vehicle key code
4. PCM code
  1. Honda HDS HIM diagnostic tool with immobilizer programming software
HDS 3.101.015 (!! cheap honda hds cable only for diagnosis)
The HDS is required for registration of the immobilizer keys. Programming the immobilizer also programs the keyless transmitter.
Use the HDS with Honda key blacks to add a key or keyless control unit, storing the transponder code of the new key in the memory of the control unit.

NOTE:
Make sure the market, the date, and the time on the HDS setup screen are correct.
Select the F12 key in the upper right corner to get the Set-up Details screen.
Make sure Market is set to USA.
Select the time display in the lower right corner to get the Date/Time Properties pop-up window.

How to program a new key to Honda with Honda HDS scanner:
1) Use an appropriate key blank and the key cutting machine to cut a new ignition key.
2) Connect the Honda HIM diagnostic system with vehicle via OBD socket
3) Insert a programmed ignition key into the ignition switch
4) Turn ignition ON
5) Run Honda diagnostic system personal computer (pc) software and come to iN screen
6) At the screen prompts, enter the VIN and the odometer reading, then verify the correct date and time.
7) Select “IMMOBI” from “System Selection” Menu
8) Select “Immobilizer Setup” from “Immobilizer Test Mode” Menu
9) Select Add and Delete Keys
10) Select Add 1 Key
11) Select Begin to Add 1 Key
12) Follow the HDS screen prompts, if your HDS is not logged in to the iN, you willhave to enter the PCM code you have retrieved from the iN Immobilizer Code Inquiry to proceed.
13) When adding keys procedure completed, turn ignition OFF
14) Exit HDS software and disconnect Honda HIM HDS scan tool from the vehicle

This blog will show you how to read Renault Megane Siemens ems 3132 sirius 32 ECU by Galletto 1260 ECU chip tuning interface. Check below steps to start!
Before connecting the Galletto 1260 you must copy the software from the disc and add it to the desktop on your laptop.
To use the software, connect the USB end of the Galletto 1260 into the laptop.
Connect the 16 pin end of Galletto 1260 to car OBD diagnostics port. This is usually beneath the steering wheel in the fuse compartment.
Open the program named 'New Serial'. Wait 30 seconds.
Switch on the ignition key to second position, but please don't start the engine.
Select “RENAULT” and “SIRIUS 32 EURO 3 29F200BB”.
Select car model.
Click “ECU Data” and Galletto 1260 Flasher starts read ECU data. Wait it complete 100%.
Click “Read ECU” and then you can name the programming data file you want to save.
When finished, it will tell you to switch off the ignition and wait for ten seconds
Switch off the ignition and then click ok. Wait ten seconds, then switch on and press ok.
Galletto 1260 successfully read Renault Megane Siemens ems 3132 ECU!
You should now have a copy of your original file on your laptop.
