VDM UCANDAS WIFI connection and WIFI name change

One of the VDM UCANDAS WIFI automotive diagnostic tool reported that he failed to setup the WIFI wireless connection with vehicle. Following is the properly solution provided.         
The most possible reason is that he did wrong configuration/operation. Please follow the correct procedure below:
1). First you should connect the VDM system with vehicle
2). Wait the VDM power to feed with power supply for 20 seconds
3). Until the VDM system finish initialization
4). Search the WIFI name “ucandas”
5). Open VDM UCANDAS software
6). The UCANDAS will automatically match the WIFI wireless connection
So if you run the software before searching WIFI, you will fail to setup the WIFI.
Important Tips:
  1. VDM UCANDAS WIFI is matched automatically. Some user misunderstand it is caused by the slow network connection which lead to the instability of the VDM system.
  1. Some user have several VDM auto systems, UCANDAS WIFI name is the same, so they have no idea which UCANDAS WIFI should be connected to.
V3.84 VDM UCANDAS en francais has WIFI name change/correction function. Locate in the “Setting” menu, users are able to set the WIFI name to ucandas 123*** in order to identify different UCANDAS software.
If the WIFI name is changed, you are required to enter the password 87654321 manually
After that first connect the VDM with vehicle and wait 20 seconds
Next start searching the ucadas WIFI name you have changed.
Then you open the V3.4 software, the WIFI wireless connection will automatically setup.

VDM Ucandas WIFI car diagnostic tool what can do

I am heard that a better alternative to Autocom, would be ucandas en francais.
Then I got ucandas when first came out, It’s not a bad scanner...it used to diag nissan very good until I did firmware update, I even have the first disc they sent with tool before they had the online register service. They use to listen to me and take my input. I love the wireless scan..And since they actually listen to me and been adding seat cal for most of the car its gotten better.

Also I have had success with Chrysler 300cc when snap on tool diag car as dpf problem when in fact ucandas diag correct as egr, also Mercedes slk airbag it diagnose car good.
They recently roll out the 2015 update for GM and it’s very up to date on Ford. I scanned 2014-2015 Fords before with it. It’s somewhat ok on SRS.

Howerver, no tool is perfect, VDM ucandas is very outdated on Nissan thought...up to 2011...then I have my eye on the GreenDS GDS+ 3, updates for Autel is a B****.

Additional inform: Can user update VDM Ucandas wifi automotive diagnosis system firmware?
Diyobd2.fr engineer confirm it’s not available with firmware update, but only software update online, the online register service is contained in the disc.

A small toy... Seemed good
Then used it on my China HyundaiELANTRA (HDC) 2012
All did on my pad with Windows 10 system
WIFI connection is ok to use

Run XTUNER E3.exe
Go to Setting in the main menu

All languages available; i use English

It’s system ver.: 8.1 firmware ver.: 6002

Renault can clip windows 7 64 bit?

Renault Clip software is always tested ok in Windows XP system. But XP system is kind of out of date. Nowadays, most use Windows 7 64 bit. To run CLIP on WIN 7 or not, that’s a question of luck.
Here are users feedback on can clip windows 7 64 bit, some successful & some failed:
– Works fine on win7 x86.
– Yes, Can Clip runs on Windows 7-x64 and Windows 8….8.1-x64 m because use x-86 files from the system.
– If your version of Windows 7 Home Basic or Home Premium x64 it is normally not work, try Enterprise or Ultimate , I use Win 7 Ultimate x64 and canclip works very well
– Automatically detect a driver in both win7 and in win7-x86-x64, a kind can clip ALIANCE driver, bosch automotive … etc..
is absolutely necessary to have all updates made​to the operating system before installation canclip
– i try install in win 7 x64 pc but the driver of VCI not work
– It is NOT working in my Win7 64-bit
– same issue, not working W7 64bit

Renault CAN CLIP program new Laguna II 2 button remote key card OK

This is a detailed tutorial to show you how use Renault CAN CLIP to program another one new Laguna II 2 button remote key card. Check below steps!

All you need:
Renault CAN CLIP Diagnostic Interface with laptop running Windows XP/ Windows 7

New Laguna II 2 button remote key card with all other old working key

Step1. Connect Renault CAN CLIP with car and open CAN CLIP software.
Use one working key to turn ignition on.
Go to the UCH section
Click the top bar button as below to enter configuration mode.
Step2. Choose “Encoding/ Reading” then click “RESERVE” SC003 button.
Enter “5938” followed by enter when prompt for a code.
Now write down the ISK Code as it shows.
You need the bytes from 18 to 23, come cars will also require byte 24. In the top bar you have the byte ID and the bottom bar you have the actual byte value. So in this case, the ISK code is 48FDA395AFC5.
Step3. Open Renault Pin Extractor then click “ISK” tab.
Choose car type Laguna 2 UCH 95160 then input the ISK code.
Click “ISK TO PIN” and the pin code is calculated.
Go to “Decoding/ Reading” then click the SC010 button.
Remove the key card from card slot and press “Continue”.
Now you need to insert all key cards one by one. (Start from the old working keys. When one key finish, press “Continue” to present next key.)
The Outcode is calculated by CAN CLIP as below:
Step4. Open Renault Pin Extractor again and click “Clip” tab. Select “Get Incode” option.
Enter the Outcode, VIN and Pin Code. (For VIN you can check the bottom of screen) Click “Calculate” button and you get the Incode.
Copy the Incode and paste it to the Outcode result page.
Insert all key cards one by one again following the screen tips. When the new key card is 100%, you remove the key and click “Continue” to complete key programming.
Now Renault CAN CLIP successfully programs a new Laguna II 2 button remote key card!

This blog will demonstrate how to diagnose Citroen C4 Grand Picasso using FOXWELL GT80 Plus WIFI Bluetooth Diagnostic tablet scanner to read DTC codes and show live data.
First, open FOXWELL GT80 software, click “Diagnostic”. Click top bar “Europe” section and choose “Citroen”.
Choose “C4” then “C4 Picasso”.
It will show you the VIN number, click “OK” to confirm.
Choose “Auto Scan” function.
“Execute all DTC test?” Choose “Yes”.
It cost about 2 minutes to scan all modules DTC fault codes. After that you can click “Quick Erase” button at the bottom bar.
OK, now you can check live car engine data.
Back to “C4 Picasso” menu and choose “Control Unit”. You can see many sections like BSI, Airbag, Instrument Panel, Radio and Air Condition etc.
Select the 20th option “Injection/ Ignition”
Choose engine type diesel or petrol. In this case it’s a diesel, so choose “Diesel engine” then select the specific ECU type.
And when engine is running, you should not disconnect the injectors because it will cause damage.
Choose “Live Data” function.
In this section Foxwell GT80 Plus show you live data in Fuel, Air, Electrical and Immobilizer information…
Click “Fuel Information” to see live fuel data.
The particle filter information is also available.

kess didnt want to read this tho ? might of been voltage l read at the guys place(fans on with read and write) and wrote at mine with charger but didnt try kess again
I remap with mpps v18 both on diesel A4‘s without issues.
Simple procedure. Only follow the guidelines. Just remember that if the engine fans run whilst i am reading ECU, then unlpug the fan by the main connector behind the N/S headlamp next to the steering fluid reservoir. Don’t want power interruptions whilst reading/writing the eeprom.
